The Lab Series is made of polypropylene as the standard pump material of construction and has a 303 stainless-steel Shaft covered with Teflon heat-shrink tubing. The Lab Series is also available on a special-order basis in PVDF (Kynar) and stainless steel but not CPVC. Contact us for information on Kynar and SS replacement parts. Motor Replacement: It is very difficult to replace just the Lab Series Motor outside of the Flo King factory and is not recommended. Most customers with disabled motors send the pump to our factory repair service or purchase a Motor with Balanced Shaft Attached (LAB MOTSHF) for do-it-yourself repairs. Installing the Motor/Shaft assembly is the easiest and most dependable way to replace a disabled Motor on the Lab Series. Click this link for instructions and photos.

To determine pump-body length, measure "A" Dimension on drawing at this link: Lab Series Specs. To identify material of construction, check color of pump body submerged in solution. Polypro (white) is the standard material and most popular. On a special-order basis, we also offer Kynar (PVDF) and stainless steel.

Standard Shaft is made of stainless steel covered with Teflon Heat-Shrink Tubing. As a precaution for aggressive solutions that may attack SS, a titanium Shaft is available for pump-body lengths of 3, 4 and 6".
