SS pumps are used most often for solution circulation with Strainer to protect the Impeller from damage due to any foreign objects that might be in solution. They are also sometimes used for filtration—with the appropriate threaded SS filter cartridge holder. All pumps are made of 316SS material.
The SS BX1200 is available only in the 10-inch pump-body length; the SS BX3000 and BX5000 only in the 14-inch length; and the SS BXL2500 and BXL5000 only in the 12-inch length. See Bulletin 23.5 for more details and dimensions.
