FAQ

WHAT IS THE LOUD, CLATTERING NOISE I HEAR? THE PUMP IS VIBRATING AND IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING IS HITTING THE PUMP BODY.

If the motor seems to be running normally but there is excessive vibration and/or a loud, clattering noise inside the pump body, it is possible the internal metal Shaft is out of balance.

The Shaft can become imbalanced as a result of rough shipping and handling, or if the pump is accidentally dropped onto a hard surface.

In severe cases, the Impeller and Shaft may actually collide with the pump body.
